Team Manager's Role


The Team Manager’s role is to maintain the general running of a team to free the coach to concentrate on the coaching and training aspects of the team.


Essential tasks:

  • Setup group communication for the team such as a WhatsApp group, Facebook group etc.

  • Communicate with team each week to determine who will be at the game. If required, communicate with the club to arrange for a player to fill-in.

  • Organise for one parent each week to perform score bench duty.

  • Organise players on game day ensuring everyone is appropriately dressed, signed on etc.

  • Act as a source of information for new players by answering basic questions about registration, jerseys, fees etc.
