Junior Coaching Services
We pride ourselves on providing superior local coaching, and to this effect have partnered with MVP Basketball, who help us provide our teams with professional coaching services, seldom seen at local basketball club level. We pride ourselves on developing our teams and players to be the best they can be, hopefully teaching them life skills through basketball, such as resilience, working with others, teammanship and true grit and perseverance. We offer most teams 90 minute training sessions once per week, wherever possible.
Our coaches offer their players mentoring, strength and kindness, and our Club prides itself on a commitment to excellence and knowing our junior players inside and out. Check out our MVP Coaches training several Club junior players in the video below.
All our Coaching Staff have valid Working with Children Checks, and report to a Coaching Mentor or our Junior Development Officer.
Dulwich Newtown Basketball Club takes great pride in our Juniors' achievements and our main objectives are to keep them playing and loving basketball for as long as possible throughout their lives, so their children can continue on at our Club.
