DNBC is a basketball club centred around the Newtown-Marrickville-Dulwich Hill area
of inner-Sydney. Our teams compete in competitions organised by the
City of Sydney Basketball
Association (see Links page).
At a club level we hope to provide a solid
framework for developing junior players via training and competition
so that they can continue playing in our senior teams. We have junior
teams in all age groups and most divisions. Most of our senior teams
are in the higher divisions. At the moment we are coaching and
training 32 junior and 7 senior teams. (see Teams page)
We are inclusive and hope to promote, in
conjunction with the City of Sydney
Basketball Association, a pathway for
participation in all aspects of the sport. As well as playing, we
provide a pathway for people who wish to coach teams.
