Season dates, registrations and what to know

DNBC participates across three competition seasons each year, giving junior and adult players multiple opportunities to enter or continue their basketball pathway.

Junior competition

The current upcoming junior season runs from Monday 7 September to Saturday 12 December 2026. U16 and U18 girls generally play on Friday night, while other U10-U18 teams play on Saturday. Fixture venues are allocated by CSBA and can vary by age group and division.

Registration

Basketball NSW / CSBA registration is separate from DNBC team fees and must be current before participating in competition.

Uniform

All new junior and adult competition players require the official DNBC playing uniform, which includes one jersey and one pair of shorts.
