COSTS / FEES / UNIFORMS

There are several fees associated with playing basketball.

1. REGISTRATION FEE

Dulwich Newtown Basketball teams are entered in the City of Sydney Basketball Association Competition. This means there is an annual registration fee which covers player insurance.This registration fee has to be paid within 2 weeks of playing and is paid to the City of Sydney Basketball Association via the Court Supervisor at the game.

Under 10's & 12's registration fee $65
Under 14's,16's & 18's registration fee $80
Adult registration fee $110

If you are currently registered with another Association the affiliation fee is Juniors $40 and Adults $70.

2. PLAYING FEE

The Club charges a playing fee each season based on the cost of entering the teams (depending on the number of games in the season). Fees vary from $70 to $170 per season depending on the number of games and the category of the team ie. Junior or Adult.

Playing fees can be paid directly to the DNBC Manager at the game and can be Cash, Cheque or Eftpos or can be paid over the internet by Direct Debit (details below). Preference is for the fees to be paid at the commencement of the basketball season.

3. UNIFORM COSTS

This is optional. We normally provide a singlet top for the game and collect them after the game. Players should wear blue shorts. If a player wishes or purchase a uniform consisting of singlet top & shorts cost is $30 each or $60 for the set.

The singlet top can be made with the players preferred name and number.
The uniforms are ordered (individual players measurements) and then made overseas - this takes 4 to 8 weeks.
